JIBO: The First Family Robot

I did a lot of packing yesterday (we’re moving to our new house 2 weeks from now). I did three rooms- our room, the boys room and the girls room. It included tearing down, literally the Ikea bunk bed that my boys- now 120+ lbs each had been sleeping in since they were in elementary. My husband hauled some boxes to the storage until dusk. Every now and then I would look for my phone because I need to know if an email came (the one I was waiting for); a phone call, a text; or maybe I have to write a note to myself to buy something, or to remind me of something.

When we were finally going to bed, I could barely keep my eyes open- I was drifting into oblivion, my husband who was still on his desktop- in our room (he’ll have an office on the lower floor on our new house, finally- no more bright monitors in our room at night :)…) asked me if I have heard of Jibo. I asked what’s that, a new kind of OS? He said it’s a robot! Ok, I was half interested but I could not really keep my enthusiasm- pardon my sleepiness!

But today, I finally looked at JIBO: The first Family Robot
